Privacy notice

Fidel Castillejos Varela («the Controller») is responsible for processing your personal data under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties. For any question about this notice, write to contacto@castillejosvarela.com.

What we collect

• When you subscribe or download a resource: your email address, language and, in some forms, the type of business you run.
• Where your visit comes from: the page where you signed up and, if the link includes it, the campaign or social network (utm parameters).
• Browsing: aggregated usage statistics (pages visited, device type, approximate city or country) through Google Analytics.
• Appointments: if you book a call, the data you enter in Google Calendar (name and email) is used only for that appointment.

We do not collect sensitive personal data.

How we use it

• To send you the resource you requested and the newsletter you subscribed to.
• To answer your requests and schedule the calls you ask for.
• To protect our forms from automated sign-ups (bots).
• Optionally, to invite you to live classes, tell you about products and services, and build statistics to improve our content. You can opt out of these at any time by writing to contacto@castillejosvarela.com.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We rely on providers that process it on our behalf: beehiiv (email), Vercel (hosting), Google Analytics (statistics) and Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection). Some of them store information outside Mexico, for example in the United States. If you buy a product, Hotmart processes your payment under its own privacy notice.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of every email. You can also ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to its use or withdraw your consent by writing to contacto@castillejosvarela.com with your name, the email you signed up with and your request.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics cookies to measure how the site is used. Cloudflare Turnstile may use technical identifiers to tell people from bots, and YouTube videos load in privacy-enhanced mode, with no cookies until you press play. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings.

Changes

Any change will be published on this page with its update date. The Spanish version of this notice prevails.
